MSMAC Board

Moms Supporting Moms of Adams County relies heavily on our Board members who, in addition to being busy moms themselves, are volunteers! We are appreciative of our Board as well as our Coordinators who help keep our MSMAC community alive! Interested in learning more about volunteering with MSMAC? Coordinators

0-5 Playdates - Kirstin Korecki and Laura Kearns
Children of a similar age group and their moms are invited to play together and socialize. The group Coordinator will choose a location or activity and host a playdate monthly.

Book Club - Rachel Chun-Kennedy and Clark Kole
The Coordinator selects a book for each month for members to read. Members then meet to discuss the book. Members may suggest books to the group, and the coordinator will attempt to vary selections to appeal to participating members.

Coffee Hour - Alison Vermilya, Sarah Duke, Casse Gaffigan, Clark Kole
Members bring their own beverages or Coordinator may provide to a morning meet-up with other moms, with or without children in attendance. Meetings may be held at a member’s home, a local coffee shop, or a park or other community location.

Moms Night Out - Maci Bingaman
The Coordinator plans a fun activity each month just for the Moms, without children in attendance. This offers members an opportunity to socialize together in an adult setting.

Nature/Outdoor Playdate - Tabitha Houser and Yu Li
The Coordinator plans an activity each month that focuses on a nature or outdoor theme, for children of all ages and their moms.

School Aged Explorers - Brittany Mizenko
Each monthly activity gives members a chance to explore less common venues or activities, with the goal of exploring a new adventure every month.  The Coordinator chooses a place that is educational and fun for children who are elementary- or middle-school-aged, and schedules the activity outside of regular school hours.

Secret Moms - Carrie McDannell
This program operates similarly to a “Secret Santa,” but with multiple gift exchanges throughout the year. Participating members are assigned to secretly deliver small gifts to another participating member (randomly assigned by the Coordinator), and will simultaneously receive gifts from a different unknown participating member as well. Secret Moms are assigned for a period of six months the end of the program, the Coordinator organizes a fun get-together for the Secret Moms to be revealed.

Tot Explorers - Sarah Duke
This activity gives members a chance to explore less common venues or activities, with the goal of exploring a new adventure every month.  The Coordinator chooses a place that is educational and fun for children who are preschool-aged or younger.
